Final tips - ROME GUIDE 3/3-

It seems like forever since we came back from Rome. However, I still owe you the last post from the Rome guide series and this one is going to be about our experience, tips and recommendations but before I start with the tips, I have to share with you a little story, story full of bad luck.

V tomhle konkrétním článku bych vám chtěla předat naše zkušenosti, tipy a doporučení, která se můžou hodit, ať už vyrážíte kamkoliv. Ale než se do toho pustím, tak mám pro vás na pobavení menší historku o tom, jakou smůlu jsme měli než jsme se do Říma vůbec dostali.

I'm definitely a foodie, I always enjoy a good meal and food is a crucial part of my travels. Even though we both normally practice intermittent fasting and have low carb diet (keto/paleo), we had decided not to care about food that much during our visit, because Italian cuisine is our favorite one. However, we struggled with finding a really good restaurant. All seemed to be rather commercial and way too tourist and we wanted something more traditional. We talked about during our last morning walk in Rome, when we were doing our little summary of the whole holiday and we agreed that the restaurants we had visited had been good but we still missed the wow. However, when we were having lunch in our street just before going to the airport we had managed to choose the best restaurant of all and it was just 1 minute away from our apartment. If you ever happen to be in Rome, definitely visit Ce stamo a pensa'. Both the service and food excelled our expectations and we could leave Rome absolutely satisfied.

Hello everyone, as you may have noticed on my Instagram, I have been to Rome recently and today I would like to share with you tips for places, which you definitely cannot miss in case you plan to visit this vibrant metropolis. You probably know that due to its rich history, Rome offers wide variety of sights from antique ones to those built in the middle ages etc. I believe that owing to this, the city has very unique atmosphere and even when you stroll around the city without having a certain plan you are surrounded with many beautiful buildings.

Jak už jste si mohli všimnout na mém instagramu, nedávno jsem navštívila Řím a dnes bych s vámí ráda sdílela tipy na místa, která si při návštěvé této italské metropole rozhodně nesmíte nechat ujít. Pravděpodobně všichni víte, že díky své bohaté a dlouhé historii, může Řím nabídnout rozmanité spektrum památek od těch starodávných antických až po krásné barokní a klasicistní stavby. Nejenže máte při návštěvě zaručeně co dělat, ale celé město vás pohltí svou jedinečnou atmosférou a i když se budete jen tak procházet bez nějakého určitého plánu, budete obklopeni krásnými budovami a kostely.
